All about Gwinnett County parks!

Gwinnett has many different parks to pick from! We wanted to list some parks that you could attend. On a pretty day, it is always nice to get outside. You can go on a nice long walk or bike ride through the parks, have a birthday party, feed the animals, and even pack a picnic! Does that sound fun or what?

Freeman’s Mill Park:

  • 12 acre county
  • A restored historic gristmill
  • A playground and a multipurpose trail. freemans

Bethesda Park & Aquatic Center: This park has:

  • A senior center
  • Gwinnett Senior learning center
  • Adult softball complex with three fields
  • Seven baseball/softball fields
  • Football/Multi-purpose field with lighted walking track
  • Six soccer fields
  • Restrooms
  • Playgrounds, and walking trail around a lake
  • Indoor aquatic center with leisure play and instructional pools
  • Horseshoe pit
  • 1.5 mile paved multi-purpose trail
  • Pavilions
  • Grills
  • Outdoor basketball courts
  • Indoor shuffleboard court

There is so much more with this park, it is one you for sure need to check out!

Not only is it Explore Gwinnett month, it is also Parks & Recreation Month! Different parks are having activities and events through the month of July!
