It’s that time of the year again, Father’s Day! And what better way to spend the weekend then having fun in Gwinnett!

Road Atlanta has a Racing School special, June 12, with two FREE nights, Thursday and Friday night, at the Chateau Elan Winery & Resort! You and your dad can learn all about the dynamics of race cars, how to drive them, and experience a thrill when racing them around the track! That is not all Chateau Elan has to offer! On Sunday, June 15, at 9am, you can participate in the 5th Annual Dad & Junior Scramble Golf Tournament. For only $54 per team, this tournament includes 9 holes of golf, lunch, contests, and prizes! To top that off there is a Smokehouse Brunch featuring a BBQ style buffet for the whole family, 12pm-3pm!

For music lovers, there will be a live concert by the Departures, a Journey Tribute Band! They will be performing Journey’s hit songs, such as ‘Lights’ and ‘Feeling That Way!’ This entertaining and upbeat performance will take place at the Buford Community Center Theatre at 8pm on Saturday, June 14. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 dollars for students of all ages!

Looking for FREE fun this weekend? For dads who love to grill out, the host from the PBS show, “Primal Grill,” will be at the Norcross Cultural Arts & Community Center on Thursday, June 12, for a FREE live cooking show! He will also be talking about his newest book, Man Made Meals, and books will be available for purchase and signing at the event! Come and learn the key tactics to becoming a “Grill Master!”
