Gwinnett CVB Lends a Helping Hand

The City of Duluth has organized a glove drive to help sister city, Duluth, MN after record-breaking floods in Minnesota in June. The Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau visited a local store this afternoon to pick up 20+ pairs to donate to Duluth’s efforts. Atlanta news channel, 11 Alive, visited Duluth Town Green today and they ran a story on the glove drive. Gloves are being collected at Duluth City Hall until Friday July 20th. Duluth, GA Mayor Nancy Harris and a local church will visit Duluth, MN to deliver the donations and volunteer in clean-up efforts. Local businesses have banned together to support the glove drive.
