Fresh off the Market

Sometimes, the grocery store produce just isn’t what we want it to be. If this is the case for you, try any of our Gwinnett Farmers Markets! Local farmers bring their fresh produce, breads, and cheese to these markets and sell them to the public. The quality of these foods is unmatched; even the organic food in the super markets just can’t compare. Gwinnett has blossomed in recent years with the opening of numerous farmers markets and community-supported agriculture. Many markets also offer chef demonstrations, freshly baked bread and local artists playing live music between the aisles of okra and broccoli. As the weather begins to warm up, more and more of these markets will be open weekly. For the majority of these markets, admission and parking are FREE!

The Lilburn Farmers Market even offers homemade items such as baskets, soaps, and herbs, along with meats, cheeses and produce.

The Suwanee Farmers Market opens in May. They offer in-season produce, free range eggs, jams, jellies, and even fresh flowers.

These are just a few of the farmers markets in the Gwinnett area. For a complete listing, see the GCVB website.
