So much to do this summer!

Good morning Monday! After a long Father’s Day weekend, coming back to work this morning may be difficult.  You may have dreaded getting up this morning and Friday just seems so far away. BUT there is hope! The best way to find motivation and perservere through this week is to have great weekend plans to look forward to.  Here are some great Gwinnett County events you will be sure to love!

Start your weekend early by attending a play Thursday night! Duluth’s New Dawn Theatre presents “Arabian Nights” this Thursday through Saturday at 8 and matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2. 

Friday night is full of concerts.  Natalie Stovall, a young country singer from outside of Nashville, will be performing for the Norcross Summer Concert Series at Thrasher Park starting at 7:30.  Natalie has traveled the nation and has performed for President Bush and Oprah.

 

Lawrenceville is also hosting Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Shawn Mullens at the Gwinnett County Historic Courthouse this Friday for their Moonlight Music and Concert Series.  Tickets for a table of 6 are $60 dollars.  They encourage you bring a picnic dinner or pick up a meal from one of Lawrenceville’s downtown restaurants. The concert begins at 8 p.m. L’ville’s concert series continues every 4th Friday of the month until September.

Saturday night picks up the heat with some really incredible events.  The Aurora Theatre is hosting a flashback to the 70’s this Saturday night at 8 o’clock. 

Suwanee Town Center is also hosting an Atlanta Braves “Game on the Green” with the Braves vs. San Diego projected for all to see.  Come early for yet another concert as well as good food, inflatable games, an obstacle course, and more.  The Atlanta Braves Tomahawk Team will be present as well the the Brave’s team mascots.  The game begins at 8:30.
