Book art by established book artists Brian Dettmer, Margot Ecke, Cynthia Thompson, and Eileen Wallace will be on display as well as the winners’ and honorable mentions’ artwork of the Gwinnett County Public Library’s annual Altered Book Competition.
Another exhibit will feature the paper dresses made by Gwinnett County Library employees from their Pulp Fashion competition. Dresses like Manga Fury, Butterfly, and Library Phoenix will be showcased.
The Print and Paper Exhibit will open June 9 and will close September 3. The Hudgens hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular admission costs $5 for adults and $3 for children. Want to get in free? Attend family day, June 18, for free admission. Hands on children’s activities will also be running that morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
