Where can you go to win a goldfish, see beautiful pageant queens compete, get a glimpse a bearded lady and see award-winning goats all in one place? Ah yes, the Gwinnett County Fair, the annual tradition of cotton candy, ferris wheels and fried Snickers bars is back! The annual Gwinnett County Fair is here through Sunday, September 25th. Gwinnett County Fair Grounds are located at 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville. Parking is free and admission for adults is $5, $2 for kids 6-12 and FREE for children under 6.
New this year, the Paul Bunyan Lumber Jack Show at 7pm and 9pm each night. Ride all the rides you want for just $20 plus the cost of admission. Click here for schedule details.
My best memory of the Gwinnett County Fair is riding the Gravitron (the spaceship looking “thing” that spins so fast, that you can hang upside down or sideways along the walls) and eating all the “fair food” (funnel cakes, anyone)?
So, what is your favorite memory of the Gwinnett County Fair?
